Yesterday marked the end of this year's Farming Smarter Field School. Farmers and Agronomists flocked to the event in record numbers with people travelling from as far as Manitoba. The weather was beautiful and a little on the hot side which helped melt the energy from the crowd by mid afternoon. Luckily, the staff came to the rescue with boxes of popsicles!
Approximately 260 attended the event over the three days with a whopping 110 on day 3. Popular modules include Hybrid Seed Production featuring leaf cutter beas, Winter Wheat and stripe rust, livee sprayer demos and a great lunch sponsored by UFA.
